PopSockets Unveils 2.6mm Low-Pro iPhone Grip at Apple Store for $39.99

$39.99 buys PopSockets' thinnest MagSafe grip yet—a 2.6mm Low-Pro model that launched Tuesday at Apple Store locations and is initially limited to iPhone users.
The redesign targets customers who wanted a grip slim enough to avoid catching in pockets, replacing PopSockets' bulkier accordion mechanism with a flatter one-action structure and metal ring kickstand.
PopSockets said the Low-Pro survived 30 pounds of pulling force and 100,000 open-close cycles, while still allowing MagSafe charging through the grip, albeit with potentially slower speeds.
Six colors are available at launch, expanding to 12 when the accessory reaches Best Buy and Target on July 12 and broader retail distribution on July 29.
