More than 10,000 bpd came from Khalda, whose output climbed from 113,300 bpd on May 26 to about 123,500 bpd on June 8 after five new wells were brought online.
GPC reached its highest production since October 2024 at roughly 74,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day, including about 61,000 barrels of crude, helped by the 1,500-bpd GPF-1X well in Abu Senan.
The petroleum ministry said paying down partner arrears over two years restored investor confidence, sped drilling and exploration, and turned discoveries into production.
Tests at GPF-1X also found oil-bearing structures in additional layers, with further evaluation planned as Egypt seeks more reserves and a lower import bill.
