Five Galaxy AI features on the Galaxy S26 Ultra are being pitched as study aids, centered on lecture transcription, note cleanup, web-page summaries, writing help and daily deadline tracking.
Transcript Assist in Voice Recorder turns lectures into searchable transcripts with speaker labels, then can summarize, translate and send them into Samsung Notes; Samsung says transcription runs on-device, while summary and translation need a network connection.
Note Assist in Samsung Notes works on notes of at least 200 characters, formatting, summarizing, translating and correcting text; on the S26 Ultra it also converts handwritten S Pen notes into cleaned-up typed notes.
Browsing Assist summarizes and translates long articles inside Samsung Internet, while Samsung Notes can translate PDFs side by side with the original for research papers and course readings.
Writing Assist and Now Brief extend the student focus beyond classwork, helping draft or polish messages and pulling schedules, reminders and deadlines into a single morning summary; several features require Samsung account login.
