Denmark Leads EU Productivity Gains at 4.8% as Ireland Posts 16.9% Q4 Drop

Denmark posted the bloc’s biggest gain per worker at 4.8%, ahead of Lithuania at 3.5% and Slovenia at 2.7%, while Ireland fell 16.9% and Italy slipped 0.3%.
By hours worked, Denmark again led with a 5.1% increase, followed by Sweden at 3.0% and Poland at 2.8%.
Ireland also recorded the steepest hourly-productivity drop at 17.1%, with Latvia down 1.3% and Czechia down 0.8%; six EU countries declined on that measure.
