Xiaomi 17T Series Draws Backlash After €100 Price Hike as 17T Pro Nears €900

Poll results showed buyers broadly viewed the Xiaomi 17T lineup as overpriced after Xiaomi lifted prices by €100, with the 17T Pro drawing the strongest pushback.
The standard 17T still won some approval for its smaller 6.59-inch display, 6,500mAh battery and 50MP 5x periscope camera, making its hardware changes easier for voters to accept.
At nearly €900, the 17T Pro was criticized for offering too little extra over the 15T Pro beyond a 7,000mAh battery and Dimensity 9500 chip, while keeping a USB-C 2.0 port.
That pricing leaves the 17T Pro uncomfortably close to full flagships, though the report said discounts could eventually make it more appealing than the vanilla 17T.
