Summary
Anthony Canty, 39, died in hospital four days after he was knocked off his bicycle in Tiptree, Essex, in a suspected hit-and-run on 21 May.
Essex Police said the collision happened on Maldon Road at about 06:30 BST and alleged the driver of a Ford KA fled the scene.
An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and failing to stop, then released under investigation.
Canty had won a £1 million Euromillions jackpot with partner Katie Sullivan in May 2020, days after giving CPR to a police officer who collapsed on a bus.
Police are appealing for witnesses and for any CCTV or dashcam footage as the investigation continues.
