Summer Game Fest delivered the first cinematic trailer for Alien Isolation 2, showing a station in disarray, a flamethrower, a scream and a Xenomorph after a 12-year wait for the sequel.
Creative Assembly said the survival-horror game shifts from a spaceship to a remote, storm-ravaged colony-world, where players traverse the planet's surface and the Weyland-Yutani outpost Kurosaki Station.
Pre-alpha footage in the trailer suggests development is still early, and no release window was announced.
The sequel is planned for Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2, extending the newly announced follow-up to the 2014 original.
