Google Expands Drive AI File Organizer to Workspace and 4 Paid Plan Tiers

Google has widened rollout of its AI-powered “Organize My Files” tool in Drive, making it available globally in English to Workspace users and subscribers to eligible AI plans.
Inside “My Drive” and parent folders, the “Suggest File Moves” option recommends files for existing folders or proposes new folders, then lets users complete the cleanup with a single “Move files” click.
The tool also lets users change suggested destinations, select or deselect files, and preview items in a new tab or hover cards before confirming any move.
Google had previewed the feature to a small group last year and formally launched the Gemini-powered organizer this week as part of a broader push to add AI and productivity upgrades to Drive.
