Remedy Details 2-to-3-Year Vision Framework for Control Resonant

Control Resonant spent years in concepting before entering roughly two to three years of full production, with creative director Mikael Kasurinen saying Remedy used that runway to define the sequel's core pillars.
Kasurinen said the studio's "vision propagation" starts with a small cross-discipline leadership group, then pushes those ideas outward so team leads help shape the vision and carry it back to their own teams.
That buy-in is meant to speed decisions on unusual design problems in the paranormal action sequel, including gravity-twisting traversal where cues like rainfall direction help players read which way is up.
The process reflects the scale of the project: a sequel to 2019's Control, set in New York with Dylan Faden as lead, that Kasurinen called Remedy's biggest game yet.
