September 2026 has been Capcom's internal target for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, according to insider NateTheHate, who addressed online speculation around a leaked Sept. 25 date.
NateTheHate did not confirm Sept. 25 specifically, drawing a line between an internal release window and a finalized launch date that Capcom has yet to announce.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword would mark the first mainline entry since 2006's Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, reviving the series after a 20-year gap.
