Capcom Sets Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Sept. 25, Opens $69.99 Pre-Orders

September 25 is the launch date for Onimusha: Way of the Sword on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with a free demo released the same day as the announcement.
The demo lets players explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and fight Sasaki Ganryu, while Capcom said its performance does not fully reflect the final game and a PC benchmark tool will arrive later.
Pre-orders start at $69.99 for the Standard Edition, rise to $79.99 for Deluxe and $89.99 for Premium Deluxe, with early buyers getting the Sealed Curse sword skin and Lion Dog charm.
Capcom also used a new trailer to spotlight Mount Oe near Kyoto, where Miyamoto Musashi battles a Genma force led by a creature claiming to be Shuten Doji and briefly transforms into an Oni Warrior.
