Silent Hill: Townfall has received an ESRB M rating, a step that typically appears close to launch and signals a release-date announcement may be imminent.
The rating cites blood, violence and strong language, describing a first-person survival-horror game set in a fictional Scottish island town where players solve puzzles and fight creatures with pistols, shotguns and axes.
Sony’s State of Play airs later on June 2, making it a likely venue for the date reveal; if not, Summer Game Fest later this week is another possible stage.
Konami has not announced a release date, but the game from Screen Burn is already confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
