Summer Game Fest 2026 Unveils 13-Event June Schedule as Sony, Xbox Set Showcases

June 2-7 will host at least 13 Summer Game Fest-linked events, with the main SGF showcase set for June 5 at 5 p.m. EDT and Xbox’s showcase on June 7 at 1 p.m. EDT.
Sony opens the marquee platform presentations with a State of Play on June 2 at 5 p.m. EDT, running more than 60 minutes and expected to spotlight Marvel’s Wolverine ahead of its Sept. 15 PS5 launch.
The lineup also leans heavily on themed and indie programming, including Black Voices in Gaming, Day of the Devs, Wholesome Direct, Future Games Show and PC Gaming Show.
Several showcases highlighted their scale in advance: the Latin American Games Showcase said it will feature 80 games from 12 countries, while Wholesome Direct promised more than 50 games.
Nintendo has not announced a June Direct, though the report said a later-in-the-month showcase remains possible as the company’s second-half 2026 plans are still unclear.
