$100 million keeps Nick Herbig off the 2027 market, with the Steelers agreeing to a four-year extension that includes $42 million guaranteed.
Herbig earned the new deal after a breakout 2025 season, posting career highs with 7.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and 18 quarterback hits in 15 games.
The 2023 fourth-round pick has totaled 79 tackles, 16 sacks, nine forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries over his first three NFL seasons.
Pittsburgh now has Herbig, T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith all under contract through at least 2027, preserving unusual depth at edge rusher or setting up a future roster decision.
