Jerome Bettis said Pittsburgh has "excitement in the air" after Aaron Rodgers agreed to return for what the quarterback says will be his final NFL season.
The Steelers signed Rodgers last week to a one-year deal worth up to $25 million, giving the franchise one more season with the 4-time MVP.
Rodgers showed he could still produce in 2025, starting 16 games and completing 65.7% of his passes for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
Pittsburgh also drafted Penn State quarterback Drew Allar in the third round, with Will Howard and Mason Rudolph on the depth chart as the team balances a farewell season with its future.
