15 mission matchups in the new Chapter Approved Deck will tailor Warhammer 40k games to the Force Dispositions of both players’ Detachments, adding more asymmetrical scenarios to structured play.
Five Force Dispositions—Take and Hold, Disruption, Purge the Foe, Priority Assets and Reconnaissance—define what an army is built to do and shape which mission pairing appears.
New Twists and Secondary Mission Cards also expand the format, with examples such as Night Fighting limiting visibility to 18 inches and revised card rules giving players more control over when to keep or score objectives.
The deck comes in the Warhammer 40k: Armageddon box, alongside broader edition changes including units hiding in cover and armies taking multiple Detachments to reduce some of 10th Edition’s rough edges.
