Kelsey Grammer backed Spencer Pratt in Los Angeles' June 2 mayoral primary, calling him the only "real option" in the nonpartisan race.
The endorsement lands as incumbent Karen Bass and Nithya Raman also compete, with the top two candidates advancing to a later runoff if no one wins more than 50%.
In the same Fox News Digital interviews, Grammer also praised President Donald Trump's "Trump Accounts" plan, which would give eligible children born from 2025 to 2028 a $1,000 government contribution.
Grammer said the savings-account initiative fits his belief in financial literacy, capitalism and passing down the "American Dream" to younger generations.
