SSA Releases 2026 Payment Schedule for 74 Million Beneficiaries

June 1 SSI payments will go out on time Monday, while regular Social Security benefits will follow the standard June schedule on June 10, 17 and 24 based on beneficiaries’ birth dates.
Nearly 74 million recipients use the calendar because SSI is paid early when the first of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, shifting checks to the last prior weekday.
2026 early SSI dates include July 31 for August, Oct. 30 for November and Dec. 31 for January 2027, with no August payment issued on Aug. 1.
People receiving both SSI and Social Security will get three payments in October and December: a monthly SSI check, their regular Social Security benefit and an early SSI payment for the following month.
