June 1 is the SSI payment date for June 2026, while regular Social Security benefits will go out on June 10, June 17 and June 24 based on recipients’ birth dates.
Nearly 74 million beneficiaries use the SSA calendar, which keeps retirement payments on standard Wednesdays and shifts SSI checks earlier when the first of the month falls on a weekend or holiday.
July 31, Oct. 30 and Dec. 31 are the next early SSI dates in 2026, covering August, November and January 2027 payments.
People receiving both SSI and Social Security will get three payments in October and December because an end-of-month SSI check is advanced ahead of the following month’s weekend or holiday conflict.
The agency said its full 2026 payment calendar is already online to help beneficiaries plan household budgets.
