Garmin rolled out two firmware releases dated May 27 across 9 watch models, adding a faster silent mode shortcut, Approach CT1 golf sensor support and some navigation upgrades.
v22.35 covers Fenix 8, Enduro 3, Tactix 8 and Fenix E, adding Last Man Overboard, Messenger read and delivered status, and model-specific restores including Spoken Watch face and night-vision color shift.
v17.33 reaches Forerunner 970, Forerunner 570, Venu X1, Venu 4 and vivoactive 6; the Forerunner 970 and Venu X1 get Last Man Overboard, while Venu models also gain golf-focused additions.
Amazfit's May 28 v3.13.0.2 update for the Cheetah 2 Pro was narrower, refining navigation turn prompts and lactate-threshold calculations without adding new features.
COROS, Suunto, Wahoo, Polar, Samsung and Huawei had no notable feature releases in the week ending May 30, leaving Garmin as the main source of substantive smartwatch updates.
