  • System Software 22.35 is now rolling out to all Tactix 8 watches after Garmin initially left the model out despite listing it in the changelog.
  • The update brings 36 changes, including 6 new features such as Approach CT1 tag support, a golf performance glance, a last Man Overboard navigation option and a quick-access silent mode.
  • Garmin also says the release fixes dozens of bugs, including battery drain after calls or phone assistant use, resets during activities or WhatsApp on iPhone, and navigation, syncing and map-related crashes.
  • Users who have not received the firmware can manually check through Settings, System and Software Update, extending a late-May release already issued to the Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Pro, Enduro 3, Fenix E and Quatix 8.
