Path of Exile 2 climbed to 15th in South Korea's PC cafe rankings by June 1, up from 52nd before the update, with average playtime reaching 160 minutes.
Return of the Ancients drove the surge through new league content, a redesigned story-based endgame Atlas, class balance changes and two new ascendancy classes—Spirit Walker and Martial Artist.
Steam concurrency also spiked to about 420,000 players immediately after the expansion, extending the jump reported after the update's launch.
