June 5 is the opening date for Sandbox VR’s first permanent Arizona venue, a more than 4,000-square-foot site in Gilbert’s SanTan Village shopping district.
30% off bookings is being offered to customers who reserve before opening, as the company bets on Gilbert’s growth in dining, retail and live entertainment.
Four private rooms will host groups of two to six for parties and corporate events, with 11 experiences including Age of Dinosaurs, Stranger Things: Catalyst and Squid Game Virtuals.
The Gilbert launch follows a Mesa pop-up unveiled in March, expanding Sandbox VR’s footprint in a state where it previously had no permanent location.
