Pokémon GO Makes 2026 Global Fest Free, Adds 26 Community Celebrations for 10th Anniversary

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global will be free for all logged-in players during the July 11-12 event weekend, opening Special Research, bonuses and boosted Shiny encounters to everyone.
Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will headline new Super Mega Raid Battles, with Niantic framing the free access as a way to draw enough players to beat the tougher bosses together.
Twenty-six public Community Celebrations are planned across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, including New York, Seoul, Taipei, Jakarta and Melbourne.
Each local event is set to run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time and will feature branded pop-ups, photo spots, community activities, giveaways and prizes, with venues still to be announced.
