2027 ID.Buzz models will return to the U.S. lineup after Volkswagen skipped the 2026 model year, adding a new Tourer 4Motion aimed at camping-oriented buyers.
Every version now gets a NACS charging port for Tesla Supercharger access, plus VW’s ID.S 6 infotainment system with a revised navigation interface and third-party app support.
The Tourer brings features previously limited in Europe, including a fold-out mattress, window shades, ventilation panels, exterior table and chairs, and software for overnight occupancy.
Volkswagen has not released 2027 pricing; the 2025 ID.Buzz ranged from $61,545 to $72,540 after first-year sales failed to match the model’s launch hype.
The relaunch keeps VW’s retro-styled electric van in the U.S. market while the company tweaks the lineup and production mix, including limiting paint choices to two-tone options.
After its last model's price crash, can the 2027 ID. Buzz prove it's a worthwhile investment?
