George Christenson said an FBI representative went to Milwaukee County’s elections director’s home and left a business card, calling the decision to approach her residence rather than the office an intrusion.
Six prior reviews — including a recount, state and federal court challenges, a legislative audit and two independent audits — proved Wisconsin’s 2020 election was fair and transparent, Christenson said.
The FBI declined to comment, while the clerk said the county would seek details on the visit and would cooperate with legitimate law-enforcement actions while defending voters’ rights.
