ICE said its Kölbi brand expanded fixed internet subscriptions by about 29% in 2025, lifting its market share in the segment by 3 percentage points.
43% of Costa Rica’s telecom-sector revenue now comes from Kölbi, according to SUTEL data, underscoring the state operator’s stronger position across core services.
41% of mobile internet subscriptions and 38.9% of the postpaid mobile segment are held by Kölbi, while its mobile market share rose 1% versus 0.1% for Liberty and a 1% decline for Claro.
51% of IP voice telephony also remains with Kölbi, as ICE credits investment and network modernization aimed at higher-capacity, always-on connectivity and infrastructure resilience.
