A broadhead arrow fired during Joe Rogan’s on-camera test left only a small dent in a Tesla Cybertruck, while the arrowhead was destroyed.
The stunt revisited Elon Musk’s long-running claim that the Cybertruck’s steel body panels are effectively bulletproof, a point the two had wagered $1 over on Rogan’s podcast.
Musk had said the panels withstood tests from a Tommy gun, a .45-caliber gun and a 9mm, while noting bulletproof glass was an optional upgrade.
The test echoes the Cybertruck’s 2019 unveiling, when Tesla’s attempt to showcase its tough windows backfired after a steel ball cracked the glass.
