MJF agreed on Wednesday to put his hair on the line against Darby Allin’s AEW World Championship, accepting the stipulation Allin had set for an immediate title shot at Double or Nothing.
The contract signing quickly turned physical: MJF taunted Allin, then landed cheap shots and struck him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring after appearing to sign.
Allin entered the confrontation after retaining the title on "Dynamite" against Konosuke Takeshita in a bruising defense that left him bloodied but still champion.
Mike Bailey also called out the world-title winner earlier in the night, suggesting Allin already has another challenger waiting beyond the MJF showdown.
The same episode also set AEW’s wider summer path, unveiling the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation tournament brackets, with the finals on June 28 and title shots at All In on Aug. 30.
