July will bring AMD’s FSR 4.1 upscaling to RDNA 3 GPUs, extending the feature beyond the Radeon RX 9000 series that received it in March.
More than 300 games will support the update for Radeon RX 7000 owners, including Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 6, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
RDNA 2 support is slated for early 2027, widening the rollout to older devices built on that architecture, including the Steam Deck.
RDNA 3 lacks the hardware normally required for FSR 4.1, so AMD said it tuned, optimized and validated the model across hundreds of PC configurations and games.
The move broadens AMD’s AI-powered upscaling push to older hardware, aiming to lift performance while sharpening visuals and smoothing gameplay.
