June 9 is the release date ARVORE and Sony Pictures VR set for The Boys: Trigger Warning on PSVR 2, with the port labeled PS5 Pro Enhanced.
ARVORE said the new version will include “improvements the community requested,” following player criticism that the Quest 3 release lacked engaging mechanics despite matching the show’s tone.
April already brought a Quest patch with performance and bug fixes, but the studio has not detailed any graphical upgrades, gameplay reworks, DLC or longer-term support plans for PSVR 2.
March saw the game debut on Quest 3, where it drew a middling 5/10 review; the PSVR 2 launch now serves as both a platform expansion and a test of whether feedback-driven changes can lift interest.
The game is already up for pre-order on the PlayStation Store at $30, or $24 for PS Plus subscribers.
