AMD Launches 6 Ryzen PRO 9000 Chips, Led by 16-Core Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D

AMD formally unveiled six Ryzen PRO 9000 processors, headlined by the Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D workstation chip with 16 cores, 32 threads and a 5.5 GHz boost clock.
The new lineup adds two X3D models for commercial systems: the 9965X3D with 128 MB of L3 cache and 170W TDP, and the Ryzen 7 PRO 9755X3D with 8 cores, 96 MB of L3 cache and up to 5.2 GHz.
Four non-X3D parts — Ryzen 9 PRO 9955, 9965, Ryzen 7 PRO 9755 and Ryzen 5 PRO 9655 — round out the range with 6 to 16 cores, up to 5.5 GHz clocks and 120W-170W power ratings.
The launch extends AMD's 3D V-Cache beyond gaming into commercial desktops and workstations, where the company is targeting heavier workloads such as rendering, simulation and real-time visualization.
