Kamala Harris has joined calls for the DNC to publish its 2024 election review, adding pressure on Chair Ken Martin’s December decision to keep the report private.
Over 300 Democrats from all 50 states were interviewed for the review, which was commissioned after Democrats lost the presidency and Senate and failed to retake the House in 2024.
Martin argues releasing the full report would distract from winning the midterms, saying the DNC has already shared findings through briefings and that there is "no smoking gun."
Cory Booker, David Hogg and Obama alumni Dan Pfeiffer and Jon Favreau have also criticized the secrecy, saying it fuels distrust and makes the party look like it is hiding mistakes.
