Season 2 of Big Mistakes is already in the works after Netflix renewed Dan Levy’s comedy series and reset its partnership with him under a new TV-only first-look agreement.
The new pact narrows Levy’s previous overall Netflix deal, which also covered films including his 2024 directorial debut Good Grief, reflecting an industry shift toward more flexible but smaller first-look arrangements.
Netflix said Big Mistakes has connected with audiences globally; Levy said the next season will be "wild." The show films in New Jersey and follows two siblings pulled into organized crime after a botched theft.
Rachel Sennott co-created the series, which stars Levy and Taylor Ortega alongside Laurie Metcalf and Elizabeth Perkins, extending Netflix’s relationship with Levy after his breakout success on Schitt’s Creek.
