Farmer’s Market on Seventh Square Sets May 30 Grand Opening With Live Music and Food Trucks

May 30 is the grand opening date for Monroe’s Farmer’s Market on Seventh Square, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with live music, food trucks, fresh produce and handmade items.
Vendors will begin setting up earlier on Monday, May 18, marking the market’s first activity ahead of the formal launch.
The opening comes as farmers in northeast Louisiana start harvesting spring crops and prepare for the summer season.
Monroe’s other farmer’s market on Washington Street has already seen some early setups, though its grand opening date has not yet been announced.
