Spencer Pratt said the Hotel Bel-Air is where he is living for now after TMZ reported he had spent more than a month there while campaigning for Los Angeles mayor.
TMZ pressed Pratt over an April 29 ad showing him outside an Airstream on a burned lot saying, “This is where I live,” while he later insisted, “I have never told anyone I lived there.”
Pratt said the hotel became necessary because of death threats and its armed security, though he also argued neither the hotel nor the trailer is a true home because his house burned down.
He again blamed Mayor Karen Bass for the Palisades Fire response, a central theme of his campaign after the 2025 blaze destroyed more than 6,000 structures and killed at least 12 civilians.
