One lot of MG217 Multi-symptom Treatment Cream & Skin Protectant Eczema Cream—lot 1024088 in 6-ounce tubes expiring November 2026—was recalled after testing found Staphylococcus aureus contamination.
FDA said the product was sold nationwide in stores and online, including at H-E-B and on Amazon, and warned use could cause localized infections or, in higher-risk cases, serious life-threatening complications.
No adverse events have been reported so far, but people with weakened immune systems or compromised skin—such as wounds, burns or skin disorders—face greater risk from exposure.
Consumers should stop using the cream, discard it, contact a physician if problems arise, and reach Pharmacal at 800-558-6614 or aimho@pharmacalway.com with recall questions.
