Hotel Bel-Air has housed Spencer Pratt for more than a month after the Los Angeles mayoral candidate said death threats made his Airstream trailer unsafe.
Pratt said the hotel's armed security left him little choice, linking the threats to his campaign as he claims momentum after debating supporters of incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.
His wife Heidi Montag and their two sons are staying in Carpinteria, while the family still has not rebuilt after losing their Pacific Palisades home in last year's wildfire.
That displacement has contrasted with Pratt's political rise: campaign records cited last month showed he had raised $539,616.85, topping Bass's roughly $494,734.76.
