Bodycam footage shows Officer Rogers reaching a Chattanooga fire scene before firefighters on May 1, entering a second-floor apartment and leading a mother and two children out of the burning home.
Neighbors told Rogers people were still inside as flames spread from the front door through second-floor walls and into the attic, prompting him to rush in and then return with a fire extinguisher.
WTVC identified the family as Rachel Blaylock, 10-year-old Charles and 4-year-old Marlowe, whom Rogers carried to safety while Blaylock brought her son down the stairs.
No injuries were reported, firefighters knocked down the blaze within 20 minutes, and the Red Cross is assisting the family after the home was destroyed and their belongings were lost.
