Florian Tardif’s new book alleges Emmanuel Macron carried on a months-long “platonic” but flirtatious digital exchange with Iranian-French actress Golshifteh Farahani.
Messages allegedly found by Brigitte Macron on a May 2025 flight to Vietnam included “I find you very pretty,” and the book says her confrontation triggered the widely shared Hanoi tarmac incident.
Farahani had already denied the affair rumors in an August 2025 interview with Gala, calling them baseless gossip created by people who “need to create romances.”
The claims, published in “Un Couple (Presque) Pfait,” revive scrutiny of a viral episode involving the French president and first lady by tying it to alleged private messages.
