Los Angeles prosecutors say Stephen Cloobeck tried to stop three victims from testifying against his fiancée, Adva Lavie, leading to three felony witness-dissuasion counts and one misdemeanor over alleged annoying phone calls.
Cloobeck, 64, surrendered at the West Hollywood sheriff's station Tuesday morning after a warrant was issued, was booked at 11:19 a.m., and was released that afternoon on $300,000 bond.
The complaint alleges he acted "by force or threat" in a case tied to Lavie, a model and influencer known as Mia Ventura, who is accused of meeting older wealthy men on dating apps and burglarizing their homes.
The arrest deepens legal fallout around the former California governor candidate, who spent millions on a 2025 campaign before dropping out and later distancing himself from former ally Eric Swalwell.

Why would a billionaire risk prison for a fiancée whose alleged crimes he publicly called 'disgusting'?
