Las Vegas Man Faces 12 Charges After Killing Ex-Wife, Husband in Grocery Store

Alejandro Estrada, 43, was charged with 12 counts after police said he entered a Las Vegas Smith's grocery store on Tuesday and fatally shot his ex-wife, Amanda Rosas, and her new husband, Victor Frias Rosas.
Police said the attack stemmed from a bitter custody fight over the couple's 12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter; Estrada also allegedly owed more than $2,800 in child support.
Multiple weapons were found on Estrada, and shoppers tackled him inside the store and held him until officers arrived. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Witness Paula Milton said Estrada appeared calm as others ran from the gunfire, underscoring the brazenness of the workplace attack.
The killings add to a string of recent violent cases in Las Vegas, days after police arrested a 17-year-old in the April 21 killing of a 61-year-old homeless woman.
