Four Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours as Israeli forces shelled and fired across Gaza, including near Khan Younis, Gaza City and south of al-Shuhada Junction.
Medical officials identified two of the dead as Mohammad Annaba and Mohammad Khader Totah, while rescue teams recovered the bodies of Munir al-Jatli, 30, and Alaa Ayad, 31, after they lay unreachable for more than 12 hours.
Israeli naval vessels also shelled off Khan Younis and fired toward Gaza City's shore at dawn Tuesday, while artillery struck areas northeast of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
The latest casualties came on the 215th consecutive day of reported ceasefire violations, with Gaza authorities saying 856 Palestinians have been killed, 2,463 wounded and 770 bodies recovered from rubble since the truce began on Oct. 11, 2025.
Gaza medical authorities put the overall toll since Oct. 7, 2023 at 72,742 dead and 172,565 injured.
