Chloe Cole said Tuesday she is postponing her Wednesday University of Washington appearance after receiving what she described as explicit death threats and warnings that Antifa had assembled a local militia to shut down the event.
Cole said the risk looked different after Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot at a TPUSA event in Utah in September 2025, adding that her security team and police were not prepared for the heightened national attention.
UW Divest News, a pro-Palestinian student group, had urged protesters to disrupt the event, called Cole a "transphobic right-wing grifter," and later celebrated the cancellation while inviting supporters to gather outside Kane Hall.
Turning Point USA said it would reschedule once the event could be held safely, while the university said the national TPUSA organization made the cancellation decision and that it had been planning security case by case.
