Prosecutors charged Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, with attempted murder and other counts after police said she fired at least 20 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle into Rihanna's Los Angeles home and a neighboring house on March 8.
10 shots first struck an Airstream trailer in the driveway, where Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were inside; court documents say Rihanna saw bullet holes in the windshield, pushed Rocky down and told him, “They shooting at us.”
Three children — ages 3, 2 and 5 months — were in the home during the attack, along with Rihanna's mother, a nanny and a housekeeper; two people were in the neighboring house, and no injuries were reported.
Ortiz, identified as a speech therapist from Orlando, was arrested that afternoon and is due in court Wednesday; the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office, appointed to represent her, declined comment.
