Meta’s Ray-Ban and Oakley smart glasses are highlighted as the most common discreet camera eyewear, with second-generation models able to shoot 3K video and 12MP photos.
Black circular lenses on the upper corners of the frame are the clearest visual tell; on darker frames, those camera modules can pass as ordinary decorative accents.
Indicator LEDs are supposed to show when recording starts, but the guide says the lights can be easily blocked with covers sold online, weakening that safeguard.
Amazon also sells harder-to-detect camera glasses using pinhole lenses or hidden nose-bridge cameras, where bulky frames, flat patches or unusual textures may be the only clues.
The guide says awareness matters more than panic: mainstream clout chasers are more likely to use fashionable Meta models, while dedicated spy-camera users remain less common.
