  • 10 carriers now support Apple’s Limit Precise Location feature by default after iOS 26.5, up from six at launch.
  • The setting blurs carrier-visible location data to an area such as a neighborhood instead of a street address, and users can turn it on in Cellular Data Options.
  • EU and UK users can now enable the feature with any local carrier SIM, broadening access beyond the newly listed partners including Telekom, EE, BT and Boost Mobile.
  • Support still requires Apple’s own cellular modem—currently in devices such as iPhone Air, iPhone 17e, iPhone 16e and M5 iPad Pro—with wider hardware support expected later this year.
