Buffalo was mathematically eliminated from the NFL's 2026 international schedule before the full slate was unveiled, leaving the Bills out of the league's record nine overseas games.
The reason is scheduling: the Bills face only one designated international host team, Detroit, and that game is already set for Week 2 in Orchard Park on Thursday Night Football.
Detroit instead will host New England in Munich in Week 10, while the 2026 international lineup also includes games in Australia, Brazil, three in London, France, Spain and Mexico.
Buffalo's last International Series appearance was a 25-20 loss to Jacksonville in London on Oct. 8, 2023; the rest of the Bills' 2026 schedule will be released May 14.
