Haley Sacks released her new book, "Future Rich Person," on Tuesday, framing financial literacy as an emotional challenge as much as a practical one.
In a discussion with Oprah Daily editorial director Pilar Guzmán, Sacks said people's relationship with money often takes shape by age 7, long before they open credit cards or investment accounts.
Sacks said the book and her Mrs. Dow Jones persona aim to make money topics less intimidating and shame-inducing, particularly for women.
She also pointed to "learned financial helplessness" among younger generations and argued that emotional regulation is central to building financial success.
