India’s BIS database has listed batteries for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9, Watch Ultra 2 and Tab S12+, signaling the wearables are nearing launch and the tablet line is advancing toward a later debut.
Battery filings point to 382 mAh and 435 mAh cells for the 40 mm and 44 mm Galaxy Watch 9 variants, while the Watch Ultra 2 is listed with a 784 mAh battery.
The Watch Ultra 2 could also be Samsung’s most feature-rich watch yet if it adopts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite, enabling options such as 5G, ultra wideband, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6.
For tablets, the Tab S12+ battery is rated at 10,392 mAh—likely marketed around 10,500-10,600 mAh—about 4% to 5% above the Tab S10+.
The Tab S12+ is expected to launch with the Tab S12 Ultra, and both have already surfaced in the GSMA IMEI database and Samsung firmware test servers.
